JM Cellars is a hidden gem tucked into the woods in the heart of Woodinville Wine Country. Ideal for any couple who is looking for an intimate feel for their rehearsal dinner, JM offers both indoor and outdoor spaces that are equally beautiful and unique. Whether you choose to have a casual gathering surrounded by forest or an indoor, industrial, seated dinner, you will not be disappointed by this special space.
For wine enthusiasts, JM specializes in a variety of reds from Walla Walla, reminiscent of those from the Bordeaux region in France. It sits amongst 120+ other wineries in the area, making Woodinville the perfect location to host your entire wedding weekend. Note: this venue does not provide its own in-house catering.

2. olympic rooftop pavilion by stoneburner – ballard, seattle
For sweeping views and an intimate, family-style rehearsal dinner, spend your evening atop Hotel Ballard at the Olympic Rooftop Pavilion. Rooftop terraces are not easy to come by in Seattle and this one includes both incredible views of the waterways and mountains, as well as a cozy outdoor seating area and fireplace to enjoy. Catered by Stoneburner, the venue specializes in “Mediterranean fare and trendy cocktails.”

With Barking Frog Catering, you can customize your rehearsal dinner to offer anything from passed hors d’oeuvres to a 4-course meal that will surely impress your guests.

With three locations around Seattle, Purple Café and Wine Bar is a great rehearsal dinner choice whether you are looking for a city-vibe for your big day or having a weekend wine getaway in Woodinville. If you enjoy tapas and wine, you cannot go wrong with Purple – they are catered by Heavy Restaurant Group, a local, Seattle staple with 8 different restaurants and 10 locations. It is worth noting, Purple does not serve beer or liquor, so if you had your heart set on a G&T, you may want to check out one of their other venues. Also, while they do offer a buy-out option and semi-private spaces, you can count on likely sharing the restaurant with other diners for your event.

The food is some of the best Seattle has to offer, and if you feel like offering something less traditional than a plated meal, you can wow your guests at the impressive sushi bar.
