We're loving Philadelphia, not just for the incredible wedding venues, but also for the crazy cool restaurants and bars that are popping up around town. Whether you're looking for a spot for your rehearsal dinner, wedding brunch, or even casual drinks with your out-of-town guests, these three spots are our new favorites! (and could also be awesome for a wedding itself!)
A view of the canal, gorgeous industrial decor, and delicious New Orleans-style food make for one awesome restaurant. Bourbon Blue has live music almost every night of the week, and can host seated events for 65, and cocktail style events for up to 150.
Newly opened on Sansom Street (by the same folks who brought you Oyster House downstairs), Mission is a large, airy, and festive Mexican cantina. Their decor is bright and eccentric, with everything from a foosball table near the bar to a Virgin Mary statue in a small outdoor alcove. You can bring family and friends for a taco night and margaritas, or host an event of 180 in the full space!
Harp & Crown - Rittenhouse
Directly across the street from Mission is our ultimate new favorite, Harp & Crown. We like it so much we considered not even mentioning so we can keep it a secret! As you enter you're greeted with tons of greenery, huge chandeliers, and antique portraits covering perfectly distressed walls. There's even a bar and 2 bowling lanes in the basement, which is perfect for smaller events!
